Cody Lewis has been a driving force at AAA Energy Systems since the early 2000s, but his journey began much earlier. At just 13 years old, Cody was already working with sheet metal during his summers, learning the ropes from his first mentor, John Burns. By the time he officially joined the family business, he had years of experience under his belt and quickly took on leadership roles, spearheading track jobs with impressive skills. Known for his exceptional craftsmanship, Cody could fabricate anything and everything, though his role has since evolved. Today, he leads the team as General Manager and Vice President, by overseeing all Sheet Metal fabrication, scheduling customer jobs and ensuring that technicians are prepared each day. Cody now shares his life with his wife Bethany and their two children, Ava and Dutch. Dutch was in the spotlight with his team’s impressive performance with the 12U NorCal Oaks Baseball Team at a tournament in Cooperstown, New York, where they finished 8th out of 104 teams! When he’s not working, Cody enjoys coaching youth sports, golf, gardening, and most of all spending time with his family. We’re incredibly grateful for Cody’s dedication and leadership and look forward to many more years of success together

Kurt Plikuhn has been a cherished member of the AAA Energy Systems family since 1988. Discovered by Curt and L.J. Lewis while working as a Gas Station Attendant, Kurt’s remarkable work ethic and efficiency were so impressive that they offered him a job on the spot. Over the past 36 years, he’s worked tirelessly as our best sheet metal installer, not only excelling in his role but also mentoring countless team members along the way. As Kurt retires, we reflect on the incredible impact he’s had on our company and the warmth he’s brought to our team. Off the clock, Kurt’s adventurous spirit shines through his passion for mountain biking and ATV riding. While we’ll deeply miss his presence, we’re excited for him as he embarks on this new chapter. Kurt, thank you for everything—you’ve truly made a difference, and we wish you all the happiness in your retirement.
Gabriel Diaz, President and Founder of Creative Roofing, has nearly 50 years of roofing industry experience. After relocating to Sonoma County in 1971, he started as a roofer’s helper, advancing through an apprenticeship and gaining leadership roles in various companies.
